Opened in May of 2006, the Anthropologie store at Rockefeller Center is the largest of the three Anthropologie stores in New York City, occupying approximately 22,000 square feet over three floors. Staying true to the historic location, the store design was inspired by the glamour of 20th century department stores like Wannamakers. Travertine flooring, reclaimed parquet floor and hand made Moroccan ceramic tiles, used in conjunction with dramatic design elements, such as a grand curved stair, effectively created a rich and detailed experience.
