“Jean Nouvel, the Paris-based architect who has recently completed celebrated residential buildings in Manhattan, will explore the Paris/ New York dialogue today. He will be joined by Craig Greenberg and Darren Nolan of New York-based firm Peter Marino Architect, well-known for apartments and fashion emporiums in both cities, and James Archer Abbott, who will tell the transatlantic story of the legendary Maison Jansen, the Parisian interior design firm that had prominent residential commissions in New York City from the 1920s through the 1970s. The event will be introduced and moderated by the Museum’s Donald Albrecht, curator of the Paris /New York exhibition. Champagne reception to follow.”
