Kathleen grew up in Columbus, Ohio in a house designed and built by her father, before heading off to obtain her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2001. She worked at firms in Scarsdale, Columbus and Chicago as well as Michael McInturf Architects in Cincinnati upon graduation.

Kathleen interviewed at Pompei A.D. the day after moving to New York in 2003 and promptly went to work the next day. She values Pompei A.D.'s vision for innovative and engaging design and process of creative collaboration. As Studio Director for clients such as Anthropologie, Sigrid Olsen, Liz Claiborne and Origins, she is influenced by artists and architects such as Carlos Scarpa, whose work embodies beautiful detailing and use of rich, tactile materials.
