Project Summary

Pompei A.D. developed the concept and design for this dynamic, hybrid environment that introduces a new cultural experience to Las Vegas. Godt-Cleary caters to a highly-educated customer with a growing desire to integrate design and culture into their daily lives. Gallery exhibits of major 20th-century artists—including the work of Jasper Johns, Ellsworth Kelly, Bruce Nauman, Richard Serra, and Andy Warhol—are integrated with a finely-curated selection of unique design objects.

The difference in product is seen in the design of the gallery. Fine art is displayed in a bright, sunlit, white-walled gallery space, complete with a semi-private viewing room for personalized client showings. The design objects are displayed within multi-functional floor fixtures and on a custom wall-shelving system. Built to accommodate a wide variety of design objects, from jewelry and unique dishware to fine-art books and catalogues, the shelving system can be easily altered and reconfigured to ensure the best presentation of contemporary design.
